Cherry Inlay on Cherry Top |
| We look for unique pieces of wood and work to incorporate the best construction methods to insure stable and beautiful furniture. Wood moves, as the temperature and humidity change. This inlay was custom cut to allow the top of the table to move without increasing the size of the split in the 100 year old, 26 inch slab of cherry. The "bowtie" was hand cut and no template was used. Our table legs are not attached using the mortise and tenon "pencil sharpener" technique. You will notice the difference. | |
